Dulcie Kogut, owner of Finding Center, has spent the better part of 15 years in both the western and eastern medicine fields. Currently she is an Ayurvedic Health Counselor, Ayurvedic Yoga Specialist, 200-hour Certified Yoga Teacher, Reiki Master (Kundalini, Crystal and Usui), and Marma Therapist.
Her passion for Ayurveda was sparked during her own healing journey through Cushing’s and Crohn’s diseases while she underwent more than a decade of surgeries and recovery. During her journey of yoga and Ayurveda, Dulcie became enamored with the deeper health and deeper knowledge of the 5000-year-old medicine that offers personalized care through the diversity of tools. While she has a diverse background in traditional, western and modern medicine, Ayurveda has become the umbrella in which she works since it works so well to support a custom plan of action for a wide variety of people. Her background in western medicine allows her to work across therapies and truly understand the needs of her clients.

Join me for a four-week traditional Ayurvedic Fall cleanse and rejuvenation. In Ayurveda, Fall/Winter, Vata, season is the most important time of year to reset the body allowing it to both detoxify and rejuvenate.
After a hot Pitta season (summer) it is important to nourish and remove excess heat from the body. By nourishing with a gentle diet; practicing wonderful self-care rituals the body can be supported to remove toxins/ama/heat out of the body and replace it with hydration and immune boosting energy. Unlike many cleanses, Ayurveda recommends eating throughout, as long as the food is appropriate for your body and the season. I find it is often easier to move into the cooler fall/winter months after I have helped my body find balance…there is an ability to focus, an improved immune system to avoid bronchitis, flu, pneumonia and other popular winter ailments. With my food intake being simple yet nourishing, I eliminate cravings for foods that are not right for my body type.
